WHAT'S THE ROLE?

The Hilti Talent Acquisition function is on a growth journey implementing our new corporate strategy, making construction better through being the best partner for productivity, safety & sustainability. As a part of this transformation, we are busy working on multiple projects including launching a new global applicant tracking system in Q4 2025, making for a very busy talent acquisition team!

Due to this busy period, we are looking for a candidate centric and self-driven Talent Acquisition Sourcer to research, identify and attract talent to diversify & develop the external talent pipeline for Hilti Great Britain across all job functions and areas. This position is a fixed term contract until the end of September 2026.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to take a detailed brief on a role, asking the right questions to understand hiring manager requirements and translate this into a sourcing strategy
  • Pro-actively identify high calibre diverse external talent via direct sourcing, market mapping and advanced search
  • Utilise our CRM system to build & identify candidates from the relevant talent pools and referrals who are a match for open vacancies and managing the candidate journey of these people
  • Conduct job/industry market intelligence, candidate/competitor analysis and utilise tools to open doors to passive and active candidates
  • Build engaged talent pools for critical skill sets across the UK
  • Work with the broader talent acquisition team to engage and attract early careers talent from colleges and universities, including organising and coordinating events and assessment centers
  • Screen and shortlist direct applications, managing your stakeholders effectively and working in close partnership with the hiring managers and Talent Acquisition
  • Conduct in-depth screenings of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences and selling the Hilti proposition to passive candidates who may not be aware of us
  • Raise Hilti’s profile as an employer of choice, promoting vacancies through LinkedIn and creating and sharing regular, relevant and engaging communication
  • Reporting data and insights back to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers
  • Work alongside the broader team on local, regional and global projects where necessary

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. WHAT YOU NEED IS:

  • Understanding of search methodology and proven experience in direct sourcing either as an in-house recruiter or in an agency environment
  • Experience of building & engaging diverse candidate talent pools and pipelines
  • Proven focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience and developing a true understanding of the candidate market
  • Prospecting and networking skills, especially via online social networks
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication/influencing skills
  • Enjoys working towards targets and able to work to defined performance KPIs
  • Resilience to deal with multiple priorities and a high volume recruiting
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS and TRM systems
  • Experience with early career would be beneficial but not essential
