What we are looking for
We are in search of a technically adept and customer-focused candidate with:
- Demonstrable experience as a Systems Technician within the automotive industry, preferably Mercedes-Benz
- Advanced knowledge in automotive systems, diagnostics, and first-time repair
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Relevant automotive technician qualifications
- A full, clean UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities of System Technician - Mercedes-Benz Cars
- Conducting thorough diagnostics to identify vehicle issues
- Performing maintenance and repair work according to Mercedes-Benz standards
- Providing detailed reports and recommendations post-assessment
- Demonstrates strong communication skills with team and customers
- Stays updated with the latest automotive technology and systems
- This is a permanent, full-time position - standard working hours: 40 hours per week, typically 0800-1700, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent formal qualifications in automotive engineering
- Certificated for 3 years at a diagnostic/systems technician role
- Able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
