We have an opportunities for Support Workers (Social Care) to join our Day Centre team in Westcliff-on-Sea, where we provide care and life skills for young people with disabilities/ challenging behaviours, including: personal care, assistance with eating and drinking, tube feeding, administration of medication, cooking, cleaning, shopping and other activities as and when required.
Key roles and responsibilities:
-Provide support and personal care to our young adults.
-Maintain logs and records and assist in the implementation of individual care programmes.
-Work with other professionals as necessary
-Supporting our young people with emotional or behavioural needs and helping to develop life and social skills.
-Supporting our young adults to access activities within the community.
Experience is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided.
A good understanding of young people with varying disabilities & challenging behaviours is essential for this role.
Candidates must have good English, communication and IT skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
We will support you through Health & Social Care diploma's and have opportunities to progress within the company.

Rate of pay is subject to experience.
Working Hours: 08:45 – 15:30 Monday to Friday.
