Specialist Autism Support Worker
Location: CV7 – Must be a driver due to accessibility
Pay: £12.50 per hour (PAYE) + Paid Sleep-ins
Hours: Days, Nights & Sleep-ins

We’re looking for a Support Worker to join a compassionate and dedicated team supporting a 28-year-old gentleman with autism who receives 24/7 care in his family home.
This gentleman is non-verbal and has additional support needs - his world is designed just for him, creating a space where he feels safe and understood. When he is happy, his joy is truly infectious. This role isn’t just about providing care; it’s about building a meaningful connection with this person, understanding what makes him feel comfortable, and being part of the small, close-knit team that makes his world a better place every day!

What You’ll Do as a Support Worker:
Work as part of a close-knit 2:1 support team
Support gentleman with daily routines, personal care, and medication
Respond to self-harming behaviours with patience and structured strategies
Document care plans and daily reports (Good English skills needed)
Build a strong trust-based relationship with the gentleman

Comfortable with Personal Care & Complex Behaviours
Drivers Essential – The location is not easily accessible by public transport
No Experience Needed! Full training is provided
Shift Patterns:
Days: 12-hour shifts (with options for shorter shifts)
Nights: 9 PM – 9 AM (Waking Night)
Sleep-Ins: 5/7 PM – 9 AM (Paid Sleep Period)
Weekends: Alternating full weekends & single shifts
