Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Looking for a Job That Truly Makes a Difference?

Are you someone who loves helping others, enjoys being creative, and wants to work in a supportive team? If that sounds like you, we’ve got the perfect opportunity!

We’re currently looking for Support Workers to join our friendly team in Niddrie, Edinburgh. You’ll be working with an award-winning charity that’s all about empowering people to live their best lives.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and mental or physical health challenges to live independently in their own homes. Life hasn’t always been easy for them, but they’re full of joy and love trying new things!

They enjoy:

  • Watching movies
  • Arts and crafts
  • Karaoke
  • Baking
  • ️ Shopping
  • Gardening
  • Going for walks
  • ✈️ Holidays and adventures

They’re always up for something new, so we’re looking for Support Workers who are creative, caring, and ready to go the extra mile.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help with everyday tasks like:

  • Giving medication
  • Cooking meals
  • Personal care
  • Keeping their homes tidy
  • Managing finances

You’ll also be a companion, a cheerleader, and a source of encouragement every day.

Shift Info

We are recruiting for 37.5 hours per week and provide support 24/7, so we’re looking for people who can work a mix of shifts, including:

  • Day shifts
  • Sleepovers
  • Some weekends (usually 2 per month for full-time roles)

Please note: we don’t currently have any waking night shifts available.

If you’re fun-loving, motivated, and want a job where you feel valued and supported—this could be the change you’ve been waiting for!

Your values:

Got heart? You’re halfway there.
At Community Integrated Care, we know it takes someone special to work in social care—and that doesn’t always mean having experience. We hire based on values, welcoming people from all walks of life: seasoned support workers, those with lived experience, or even total newbies with a passion to care.
