Job description:
Horse, Hound and Hunter is a Pet, Equestrian and Country Store situated in a semi-rural location.
We are currently seeking a Sunday store assistant, with the option of additional shifts available for holiday cover etc.
You must have a keen interest in animals, and ideally will be interested or experienced in equine nutrition.
Full Product training will be given.
This role requires heavy lifting (up to 25kg) and lone working.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication skills
- Customer Service
- The ability to perform basic administration tasks, including:
- Use of a till system, laptop, phone system and manage emails.
- Work independently, and manage time efficiently whilst prioritising daily tasks.
- Previous experience in retail is preferred but not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated, proactive, and enjoys the outdoors. Your role will include managing and packing customer orders, serving in-store customers, stock rotation, assisting with organising deliveries and all associated admin/paperwork.
This role requires a large amount of heavy-lifting.

Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 5pm
Sunday 10am - 4pm

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
