The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Structural Detailer to join our experienced team. Reporting directly to the Detailing Supervisor, this role plays a crucial part in delivering accurate and high-quality drawing packs for manufacture, as well as producing clear erection drawings for installation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to work on a wide range of structural steel projects, contributing to critical infrastructure and bespoke fabrications across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret client engineering and architectural drawings and specifications
Develop detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures, including substations, access platforms, stairs, and gantries
Prepare General Arrangement drawings for client approval
Create accurate assembly and part drawings for manufacture in line with in-house capabilities
Generate materials and bolt lists to support estimating and procurement
Produce clear and practical erection drawings for on-site installation
Conduct site visits and surveys when required
Input CAM/BIM data into StruMIS ERP software, including nesting and work orders
Manage and track technical queries (TQs) across projects
Check detailing work from colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement of deliverables
Who We're Looking For:
Youll be an experienced Detailer with a proactive mindset, technical confidence, and an eye for precision. Youll enjoy solving problems and contributing to a supportive, quality-driven team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures and AutoCAD
Understanding of fabrication and steel manufacturing processes
Experience working within a structural steel or manufacturing environment preferred
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional working
