Strategic Procurement Sourcing Analyst, Europe

Block
City of London, England
Full time

Block is one company built from many blocks, all united by the same purpose of economic empowerment. The blocks that form our foundational teams — People, Finance, Counsel, Hardware, Information Security, Platform Infrastructure Engineering, and more — provide support and guidance at the corporate level. They work across business groups and around the globe, spanning time zones and disciplines to develop inclusive People policies, forecast finances, give legal counsel, safeguard systems, nurture new initiatives, and more. Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all. Bring yours to Block.

The Role

As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst supporting the European markets based, you will play a vital role in the execution of day-to-day procurement operations across a diverse range of indirect categories including IT, professional services, marketing, HR, facilities, and more. Working under the guidance of the Head of Procurement Lead for Europe, you will assist with purchasing coordination, supplier communications, data analysis, process improvement, and internal DRI support, ensuring procurement processes run efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with business priorities across the region. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career procurement professional looking to grow within a global financial services organization while gaining exposure to regional and cross-functional operations.
