The role
We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Planning Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving business performance through strategic insights and planning.
Key accountabilities
- Partner with underwriters, actuaries, and other stakeholders to support premium planning and forecasting.
- Build and maintain financial models to inform strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Research market trends and generate commercial insights to support both short-term and long-term planning.
- Deliver clear and compelling narratives around premium forecasts by class of business, incorporating market context.
- Monitor actual performance against planned premiums and provide variance analysis.
- Produce tailored analyses and reports to meet diverse business needs.
- Manage planning processes and timelines across cycles.
- Collaborate with developers to enhance and maintain planning systems aligned with evolving business requirements.
Skills & experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in insurance is a plus but not essential.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and take ownership.
- 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, Consulting, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance.
