To be available throughout your period of on call to take telephone calls, as needed, and respond to a Command location if required during a serious or major incident

We would like to hear from you if your host organisation will support your application, and you: -
- Are a registered medical practitioner with a minimum of one years’ experience at consultant grade or equivalent.
- Have pre- hospital care experience through Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine training or responding as part of a BASICS Immediate Care scheme.
- Have experience of proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Are experienced in and comfortable providing strategic level advice in a highly pressurised environment.
- Are an outstanding communicator and problem solver who understands the importance of emotional intelligence.
- Understand the pre-hospital emergency medical environment, mass casualty management and the NHS ambulance services’ core standards for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR).
- Are available within the East of England region, contactable and can mobilise to an command cell when on-call.
- Are willing and able to undertake specific training associated with the multi-agency response to a major incident.
- Can empathise with the EEAST values of quality, teamwork, respect, care, and honesty.
