Window Supply Company manufacture and supply UPVC windows and doors to trade. Established in March 2019, the company has quickly become one of the largest window and door fabricating companies in Scotland. The head office and manufacturing facility are based in Whitburn, West Lothian with trade counters in Aberdeen, Bellshill, Dundee, Livingston, Loanhead, Inverness, Kilmarnock, Manchester, Lincoln and Sheffield. The company prides itself on delivering the most advanced and energy efficient windows in the uPVC market alongside exceptional service. Due to ambitious and exciting growth plans, we are seeking a skilled Storesperson/Forklift Operator to join our team in a factory setting. The role involves efficiently operating a forklift to handle materials and goods within the factory.
Requirements of the role:
Driving forklift to unload deliveries from suppliers
Manual lifting of PVCu profiles and hardware
Replenishing stocks in stores and yard
Assisting with monthly stock counts
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and containers
- Transport materials to designated areas in the warehouse
- Manage inventory using the warehouse management system
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and materials handling activities
- Previous experience working in a warehouse/factory environment is essential
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is required
- Capability to load and unload goods efficiently
