P&J are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores Order Picket & Stock Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our parts stock, from goods-in to dispatch. You will play a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels, safeguarding quality standards, and supporting both our internal production and external supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
•* Stock Management:*
Maintain adequate stock levels of all parts to support production and customer demand.
•* Goods-In Inspection:*
Check incoming deliveries for compliance with purchase orders, including quantity, quality, and dimensions.
•* Purchase Order Processing:*
Accurately book in received purchased orders and store items in their appropriate locations.
•* Purchase Order Requests:*
Proactively request purchase orders to replenish stock from both internal production and external suppliers.
•* Stock Control:*
Conduct regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
•* Record Keeping:*
Maintain accurate computer records of all stock movements using stock management systems.
•* Order Fulfillment:*
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders efficiently and accurately to meet customer requirements.
About You
•* Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, and stock control role.*
•* Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.*
•* Familiarity with stock management systems and computer literacy *
•* Forklift driver*
•* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.*
•* Good organizational and time management skills.*
•* Physically able to handle stock and perform manual tasks as required.*
•* Excellent communication skills.*
