We are looking for a pro-active, organised, self-motivated and ambitious Stock Control Assistant to join our growing team. This role will provide better practices and visibility of stock control, reducing costs and increasing stock reporting. Responsibility for monitoring all packaging and egg stock from farm to fork.

Responsibilities
- Stock control management of our egg, packaging and consumable items
- Maintaining and developing all stock systems.
- Support with waste tests to identify baseline physical waste of both egg and packaging
- Support to understand waste through ERP system and ensure correct waste assumptions represent physical waste tests.
- Support implement opportunities to reduce waste
- Effectively communicate with sales teams regarding wholesale, short date and priority stock that needs to be sold/processed.
- Scan out all wholesale stock and ensure correct stock levels are fulfilled
- Facilitate regular stocktakes.
- Oversee storage of products.
- Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
- Track shipments and address any delays.
- Checking paperwork for orders and deliveries.
- Removal of old stock and ensuring packaging space is maximised
- Support closing production orders and ensure that damaged stock is journaled off accurately
- Ensure all activities conform to the company’s procedures and policies, information security and confidentiality.
- Support maintain stock SOP that are efficient and effective for the business
- Support stock reporting is accurate and visible for all team members
- Cover stock manager when on leave
- Support the company's mission towards net zero as required
Experience & Skills

Essential:
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
- Knowledge of stock management and administration
Desirable:
- Stock Management qualification
