EFZ Steel LTD are looking for a person to join their small team. Based in the Peterborough area as steel suppliers and fabricators. EFZ Steel have a good balance of clients in and around London and Peterborough.
We are hiring for immediate start, ideally all successful applicants will be able to start within 1-2 working days. Must have a full Driving license and own vehicle.
Position overview
- Candidate must be an experienced welder with over 5 years industry experience.
- The successful candidate know how to completely weld, leading to the ability to fabricate to a high standard.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, forming, and welding metal components to create custom pieces according to customer specifications.
- The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

position requirements
- This is a physically demanding job, so it requires a candidate with a good level of fitness.
- A candidate with welding skills would be advantageous but not essential.
- The candidate must have a good understanding of maths as following engineering's drawings, reading, interpreting blueprints, specifications and measuring and cutting of steel is a staple of this job.
- Understand basic welding principles and techniques.
- Use a variety of tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Operate welding equipment in a safe manner.
- Work with other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- must live within a commutable distance to Peterborough.
- punctuality is critical in this role as at times deliveries arrive early in the morning.
- The successful candidate may at times be required to work in London at busy construction sites. In these instances transport will be provided.
- Health & safety and first aid qualifications are not necessary as training will be provided.
- Full uk driving licence would be advantageous, but not necessary.
