Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with the administration of medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of patient areas, including equipment and supplies.
- Assist in the transportation of patients within the facility as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in critical care practices.
Qualifications
- A relevant qualification in health care or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Critical Care Technician or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology relevant to critical care settings.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.
