We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality finishes and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while working on various painting projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times while on site.
Experience
- Must have at least 3 years experience spray painting in the car trade
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
We may consider a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice
