Titanium Race Timing provides chip timing services to event organisers with a difference. Our goal is to provide a bespoke service to each organiser and provide a personal touch to their events and engage with their participants to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience.
We have built up a fantastic reputation and are known as one of the key players in the market but more importantly are recognised as a company who and want to support event organisers and make sure participant has a fantastic experience.
This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation made up of passionate individuals. The team is small, but highly committed and has a reputation of delivering solutions for 200 - 6,000 participants. A successful candidate will need to be able to work independently and lead a team on tasks such as fulfillment. The candidate will be given the opportunity to bring their own creativity and ideas to this role within this dynamic organisation.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
As we time sporting events, weekend availability is essential! You must be willing to dedicate your time to traveling and working specific weekends over the summer period (March - Oct).
As a Lead Timer you will be taking on the pivotal role of timing the event and all which comes along with the job role. This includes driving to the race location (sometimes an overnight stay the night before), setting up timing equipment, assisting event organisers, managing remote timing points, undergoing timing of the event, presenting podium results and dealing with any timing queries. It sounds like a lot but no need to stress or let this deter you!We will provide in-depth training and shadow you until you get up to speed.
Our events span across the UK which provides a unique chance to discover unexplored locales. Embrace the possibility of working in picturesque countryside fields or the exciting hustle and bustle of towns for fast closed road running events!
Due to the above, a valid driving license is imperative as well as weekend flexibility and a welcoming demeanor!

Essential Criteria
- Ability to talk to participants / clients / volunteers in a professional manner, helping them to execute a successful event.
- Be confident with computers and IT equipment.
- Have the ability to work independently
- Highly organised and focussed individual
- Calmness under pressure and an ability to think clearly and logically
- Highly motivated
- You will need to be very resourceful, thinking on your feet is a must have
- Ability to lift equipment
- Advanced level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Have great communication skills in English (written & verbal).
Desirable Criteria
- Clean Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience of working in sports events.
- Experience using SQL databases or data management
- Experience using RFID timing equipment
