St George’s College provides a wide range of sporting opportunities for its pupils, promoting excellence and enjoyment at all levels of participation. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Coach with a specialism in netball to support the delivery of high-quality coaching across various sports during the Christmas and Easter Terms, with a strong focus on leading the netball programme during the Easter Term.
The ideal candidate will have experience of having played or coached to a high standard, be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with the ability to coach, support and develop students of all abilities. Level 2 coaching award or similar is desirable in at least one of our main sports but in particular, netball. We are looking for dynamic, energetic and highly motivated individuals who would like to be part of a vibrant and inspirational department.
The College has a strong netball tradition, participating in high-level competitions such as the SIS Cup, ISNC Cup, and England Netball National Schools Competition. Facilities include three floodlit outdoor netball courts, two additional outdoor courts, and a full-sized indoor court within a state-of-the-art Activity Centre.
While the postholder will contribute to a variety of sports across the school year, their primary responsibility will be to lead and develop netball during the Easter Term – the peak of the competitive netball season.
