Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working within a coaching environment, with NGB Level 2 Qualification(s). This role involves planning and delivering a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs in a range of educational and community settings.
Responsibilities
Being able to:
- teach relevant skills, tactics and techniques and adapt coaching techniques accordingly;
- identify strengths and weaknesses;
- ensure the health, safety, welfare and supervision of participants, throughout the session, is monitored and managed appropriately;
- administer the necessary procedures for any incident or accident that occurs to any participant under your supervision;
- complete Risk Assessments including carrying out checks on equipment, venues and facilities;
- work to a high legal and ethical standard at all times, particularly in relation to issues such as child safeguarding and health and safety requirements;
- ensure high standards of customer care and a quality service are provided at all times; and
- undertake administrative tasks.
Skills
- NGB Level 2 Qualification(s);
- Safeguarding & Child Protection training and First Aid training (although this can be provided by us ahead of your start date);
- Experience working in primary school settings (is desirable);
- Access to your own transport;
- Good time-management and a professional work ethic;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire children;
- A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering growth in young children;
- Strong organisational skills to help plan sessions.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
