Specialist Stringed Instrument Sales & Marketing Assistant
Stamford Strings – Stamford, Lincolnshire
Start Date: 30th June 2025
Hours: 25 hours per week (within 10am–4pm, including some Saturdays)
Pay: £13.50 per hour (9-week contract, total pay £3037.50
Do you have a passion for music and a flair for marketing?
We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and creative individual to join our small team this summer!
Essential Skills:
- Customer service experience in a retail or client-facing role
- Proficiency in social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Confident communicator with a collaborative spirit
Highly Desirable:
- Experience of playing a stringed instrument (violin, viola, or cello – past or present)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting customers in-person, by email and over the phone with sales and enquiries
- Creating engaging content for social media and email campaigns
- Producing short videos and reels to promote instruments and events
- Updating the website and managing online orders
- Helping to maintain and present instruments in the shop
- Keeping our beautiful instruments polished and maintaining a clean, tidy work environment
