Overview

Responsibilities
- Safely remove and dispose of hazardous materials (e.g., bodily fluids, infectious waste).
- Decontaminate affected areas to prevent risk of infection or contamination.
- Clean and restore scenes involving accidents, injuries, or fatalities.
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity at all times.
- Extract water, dry properties, and remove damaged materials, prevent mould growth and structural damage.
- Clean and deodorise affected areas.
- Search, locate, and safely dispose of syringes, blades, or other sharp objects.
- Use appropriate PPE and follow strict safety protocols.
- Follow COSHH, PPE, and biohazard safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments before and during each job.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
