Please note: This is a shift role, on-site only

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Manage the activation, adjustment, monitoring, and recording of multiple sound sources during live events and production audio requirements

  • Collaborate with local and international production teams to ensure audio guidelines are followed and all stings and beds are current

  • Provide clear notes and documentation and daily reports to other operators and the wider production team

  • Log and tag all audio for each live production to support future edits, clearances, and rights agreements

  • Ensure high-quality audio routing, mixing, and monitoring of multiple audio sources

  • Set up and test equipment promptly, ensuring all required content is in place and levels are checked

  • Act as a point of contact for upcoming productions and live broadcast days

  • Support upgrades and testing of audio and corporate systems to ensure equipment functions to the desired standard

  • Contribute to training plans for staff and freelancer training as needed

  • Work with the bookings and facility management teams to ensure efficient use of technical and human resources

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Working experience of both remote and studio audio broadcast setups

  • Proven experience managing multiple sound inputs from various locations simultaneously

  • In-depth knowledge of audio principles and technologies

  • A good ear for audio processing and the ability to identify and address audio quality issues

  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for technical challenges and recording issues

  • Proficiency in industry-standard routing systems and audio editing software

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with production teams and clients

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to manage workload effectively and independently

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, adaptable to working with diverse personalities and levels of authority

  • Attention to detail and focus on work task

  • A passion for audio and a keen interest in sports

Next steps: After submitting CV, chosen candidates will receive an email from us inviting them to a 15-minute call to discuss the role and their expectations.
