Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality drinks and pacakes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented beautifully.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working atmosphere and assist where needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a barista or kitchen staff is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and providing change.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel welcome and valued.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
