We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations, social media management, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content tailored to each platform that aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to comments and messages.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Analyse performance metrics of social media campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management and public relations.
- Assist in the development of promotional materials and campaigns that leverage social media platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or public relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools is an advantage but not essential.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £9.00-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
