Role: Social Media Content Consultant (Freelance)
Hours: Part-time, flexible (approx. 3–6 hours per week)

Role Overview:
Propelling Parrot Ltd. is hiring a high-level Social Media Content Consultant to support and develop our in-house team of content creators. We manage multiple glamping and hospitality brands across the UK — and while our content is consistent and well-run, we want it to hit harder, reach further, and convert better.
This is not a content creation role — it’s a strategic coaching and quality leadership position. You’ll act as a guide, sounding board, and expert eye across Reels, TikToks, captions, brand tone, and performance strategy. You’ll join regular Zoom check-ins, contribute actively in team WhatsApp chats, and help us push every piece of content closer to excellent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly or fortnightly team coaching calls (Zoom)
- Provide hands-on feedback in team WhatsApp chats on posts, Reels, and campaign ideas
- Review and advise on content calendars across multiple brands
- Help each brand stand out with distinct tone, visuals, and content style
- Guide the team on:
- High-performance Reels and TikToks
- Caption writing that leads to action
- Brand differentiation through content
- Leveraging trends in a relevant way
- Support with analytics interpretation and content testing
- Help build scalable processes for better creative output and consistency
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has 5+ years’ experience in social media strategy, with a portfolio of brands (not influencers)
- Understands Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok inside out — content formats, hooks, conversion paths, and trends
- Can give thoughtful, honest feedback that actually helps people improve
- Can spot why something looks okay but won’t convert — and help fix it
- Is comfortable in fast-moving team chats and async collaboration
- Has demonstrable success helping brands grow and perform online (reach + bookings/sales)
- Ideally has experience in the travel, glamping, or hospitality space

- Available for regular daytime Zoom calls + WhatsApp input during the week
- Comfortable working with a young, proactive team across multiple projects
