Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer who is fluent in English to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of site tasks, working closely with tradespeople, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled manual labour tasks including (but not limited to): groundwork, demolition, basic carpentry, concrete work, and site clearance.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and bricklayers as needed.
- Load and unload materials and equipment on-site.
- Follow verbal and written instructions in English to carry out work tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site manager or supervisor promptly.
- Ensure materials and tools are used efficiently to reduce waste.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a skilled labourer in construction or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to read site instructions, safety notices, and basic construction plans.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards on construction sites.

Pay: £12.21-£20.85 per hour
