Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of construction and maintenance tasks.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Skills
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical fitness, capable of performing manual labour for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- Problem-solving skills with an adaptable approach to changing situations.
Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: From £16.50 per hour
