Site Services Operative
Royston, SG8 5HE - Full time

We are recruiting a Site Services Operative to deliver an outstanding level of customer service and support at our corporate site. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, guests, and contractors, while supporting the smooth delivery of essential site services.
What you'll do:
- Provide the highest standard of customer service in line with Sodexo and client expectations.
- Maintain site cleanliness through sweeping, litter picking, and emptying bins.
- Assist with the delivery, storage, and distribution of supplies..
- Support the Tech Services team with routine tasks (e.g., fire extinguisher checks, first aid box checks).
- Accompany and support onsite contractors as required.
- Ensure health & safety and hygiene standards are always adhered to, including COSHH compliance.
- Take part in performance reviews, training, and development opportunities.
- Respond positively and professionally to all client requests.
- Act flexibly to meet the changing demands of the site.
What you'll bring:
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
- Previous experience in facilities, cleaning, or site services.
- Strong teamworking skills with the ability to work independently when required.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive, and professional approach.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment.
- Leadership capability to step up in supervisor’s absence.
