Sign Maker & Print Operator
Specializing within the house building sector, Sign Build Ltd designs, manufacture, install and maintain all aspects of signage from ground based large stacks, to internal POS signage. We are currently looking for a motivated person to join our small team of sign makers to assist with some of the day-to-day tasks within different areas that keep our processes running smoothly.
Examples of duties expected:
- Vinyl work including weeding cut text, applying print to various substrates, laminating and finishing
- Operating Print & cut machines
- Fabrication of Composite signs and metal frames
- Receiving deliveries
- Packaging finished products ready for dispatch
- General housekeeping - emptying bins, sweeping, ensuring areas are clear
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic with an ambition to succeed. You will be able to work under your own initiative and react to changing demands. Previous vinyl work experience is ideal, however, a keen eye for detail and an ability to learn quickly is essential. Full training will be given. We are looking for someone who is computer literate in order to operate our internal management systems.
For the right person there is an excellent and realistic opportunity to be trained in all aspects of sign making including operating machinery, printers and Fabrication tools.
Pay and duties will depend on experience.

Schedule:
- Day shift 8hrs - some flexibility may be required to suit the business as well as overtime occasionally as and when required
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Preston, PR2 5NP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Sign Making or equivalent: 1 year (ideal)
- Would consider Full training for right candidate
- Adobe preferred not essential
