Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify the age of patrons.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the integrity of the establishment.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within and around the venue.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and maintain accurate incident reports.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Assist in training new staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices.
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, particularly CCTV operations.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
