Ma Berry’s Bar is one of Portadown’s busiest and best-known venues, we are currently seeking professional, reliable, and confident SIA Licensed Door Supervisors to join our team.
About the Role
As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all customers and staff. You will act as the first point of contact for customers entering the venue and play a key role in ensuring that standards of safety, security, and professionalism are upheld at all times.
Key Responsibilities
-Carry out ID and entry checks in line with company and legal requirements
-Monitor customer behaviour and manage situations proactively and professionally
-Diffuse conflict and handle incidents calmly and effectively
-Provide excellent customer service and support to both customers and staff
-Ensure compliance with licensing laws and venue policies
-Liaise with management, staff, and emergency services when required
Requirements
-Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Professional, approachable, and confident under pressure
-Ability to work as part of a team and follow clear procedures
-Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
