Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen sense of time management, and a background in retail or sales management. Duties
- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular audits.
- Implement training programmes for new staff, focusing on product knowledge and customer engagement techniques.
- Maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling shifts, managing payroll records, and maintaining employee files.
- Communicate effectively with both staff and customers to resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Utilise multilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising teams within a retail or sales environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
- Familiarity with administrative duties, including phone etiquette and record keeping.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to sell products effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining a positive work atmosphere while achieving business objectives.
