Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the shop's organisation, assisting customers with their inquiries, and promoting our products effectively. This position requires excellent communication skills, particularly in English and Spanish, to cater to our diverse clientele.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
- Restock shelves and manage inventory levels as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in promotional activities and events within the shop.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new products and enhancing service delivery.
