Job Title: Shop Assistant – Retail (Part-Time)
Location: Manchester
We are currently looking for a reliable and friendly Retail Assistant with previous retail experience to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers providing exceptional service and support.
- Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring shelves are stocked.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and promotions.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock checks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a retail or convenience store is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience using PayPoint, Payzone, and National Lottery terminals is preferred, but not essential — training can be provided.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
