is looking for a dedicated SHEQ Advisor to help champion safety, wellbeing, and best practices across our projects in the social housing sector. If you're looking to make a real impact while growing your career, we want to hear from you!


What You'll Be Doing

As a SHEQ Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring high standards of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality across all our operational sites. You'll be a key support to the SHEQ Director, working closely with senior leaders and site teams to uphold compliance and promote continuous improvement.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Report daily to the SHEQ Director
  • Conduct quarterly SHEQ audits and produce monthly reports
  • Support ISO audits and maintain compliance with SHEQ standards
  • Keep systems like ECO-online and toolbox registers up to date
  • Help develop and implement safe systems of work
  • Lead by example during site safety tours and forums
  • Identify improvement opportunities and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Contribute to SHEQ forums and monthly bulletins
  • Promote PiLON’s core values and uphold data protection (GDPR) standards

What We're Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and a natural collaborator. You thrive in dynamic environments, take ownership of your work, and genuinely care about the well-being of those around you.


Your Skills& Qualities:

  • Solid understanding of SHEQ procedures and legislation
  • Experience in data analysis, KPI reporting, and admin tasks
  • Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Self-driven with excellent time management
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications
  • A practical, problem-solving approach to challenges
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Preferred Certifications (support can be provided with desirable ones if you don't have them yet):

  • TechIOSH membership
  • CSCS card (desirable)
  • Fire Marshal/ Safety Certificate
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate (desirable)
  • First Aid at Work
