About Us
We are a well-established sheet metal fabrication business supplying high-quality products to the insulation and cladding industry. We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our busy workshop in Rochdale.
The Role
You will be responsible for manufacturing sheet metal components to a high standard using various materials, primarily aluminium and stainless steel. Typical work includes cutting, folding, rolling, and assembling sheet metal products for insulation and cladding applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping sheet metal to specification
- Operating guillotines, folders, rollers, and cutting machinery
- Assembling and finishing products, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Reading and interpreting drawings and work orders
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
Requirements
Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication (insulation/cladding industry experience desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work accurately with sheet metal tools and machinery
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
