We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team in the heart of the furniture design industry. This role is pivotal in crafting high-quality sofa and sofa bed and beds and headnoards, based in the UK. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of transforming everyday living through functional design.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various machining tools and equipment to produce furniture components.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop new product prototypes.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to meet company standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating machinery.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance productivity.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Experience with warehouse operations is a plus.
