We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations to enhance their experience through upselling techniques.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery to guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Provide support to colleagues as required, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to assist in food preparation when necessary.
