Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations and customer areas.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards in all food preparation tasks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
