Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that our patrons have a delightful dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within the establishment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the appropriate order system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all guests are attended to promptly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest services.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Time management abilities to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service.
