Russell Lane Jewellers are one of the finest independent family jewellers within Warwickshire. We stock exquisite new, vintage and antique diamond, gemstone and gold jewellery. We also carry out repairs and valuations and buy goods from members of the public.
We are currently looking for a full-time senior sales assistant to start as soon as possible. The role will include:
· Greeting and assisting all customers and advising them on our stock.
· Identifying and meeting customer requirements and completing sales.
· Ensuring all enquiries to the business are dealt with in a timely and courteous manner.
· Caring for and maintaining our stock and premises and ensuring they are well-presented.
· Ensuring customer repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
· Following shop guidelines in buying goods from customers, ensuring that they receive value for money.
· Providing support to and advising junior staff as necessary.
· Assisting in maintaining our website and social media presence, including digital photography.
· Any other duties as required.
For this role, you should have at least one year’s experience within the retail jewellery trade with a proven record of high levels of customer service. A qualification in jewellery or gemology is preferred. Training will be given on any areas required, and assistance with further qualifications is available.
The usual working days expected are Tuesday to Saturday.
