Join our team and be part of a company that truly lives its values. With our expertise and commitment to innovation, we aim to build trust and make health and wellness accessible to all. By fostering inclusivity and care, we work collaboratively to improve the well-being of our colleagues, customers, and communities.

The Role:

Do you thrive on partnering with cross-functional teams to navigate complex regulations? As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate at Holland & Barrett, you'll drive the end-to-end regulatory process for our UK, Ireland, and EU product ranges - from early formulation review through post-launch maintenance. You'll craft submission dossiers, guide labelling and claims approvals, and monitor evolving legislation to keep our innovative supplements and wellness offerings on the shelves and in our customers' hands. In return, you'll enjoy a hybrid working model, clear career progression, and the chance to influence global product strategies within a digitally empowered, values-driven organisation.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead compliance reviews for NPD formulations, labels, claims, and packaging.
  • Perform regulatory gap analyses and implement corrective action plans.
  • Prepare, submit, and track regulatory dossiers; manage authority correspondence.
  • Approve marketing materials (digital, print, POS, advertising) for regulatory accuracy.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory updates; advise on impacts to products.
  • Maintain technical files, labelling databases, and the regulatory risk register.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, agencies, and trade associations on regulatory matters.
  • Support customer service and quality teams with regulatory inquiries, complaints, and incident investigations.

Location: Hybrid role based in London or Nuneaton (with occasional travel to Burton and other sites)

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a scientific discipline or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' regulatory affairs experience from within retail or FMCG, covering UK, Ireland, and EU markets.
  • Solid understanding of food supplement, botanical, and wellness product regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing submissions and managing regulatory correspondence.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Proficiency with regulatory databases, submission platforms, and compliance software.

What we offer:

Our Benefits for this role include, but not limited to:

  • H&B Employee Discount - 25%
  • Bonus
  • Pension company contribution
  • 33 Days Holiday per year (Inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Private Medical Care
  • Exclusive benefits, free advice and savings from a range of retailers and providers
  • Electric Car Scheme

We're passionate about helping every colleague thrive across all dimensions of wellbeing, and we're committed to having a diverse and inclusive workplace. In line with our EPIC values (Expertise, Pioneering, Inclusive, Caring), we embrace and actively celebrate all our colleagues' unique and varying experiences, backgrounds, identities and cultures - I am me, we are H&B.
