We’re looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to bring technical expertise, innovation, and leadership to a dynamic team.
🚆 About the Role
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for rolling stock projects. From design and development to testing and troubleshooting, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of electronic systems engineering.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic control and power equipment.
- Produce and review technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Conduct engineering calculations and reliability predictions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as BS EN50155.
- Perform FMEA and risk assessments for electronic systems.
- Investigate system failures and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in electronic hardware design and testing.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Seetrax XL) and circuit simulation software (e.g., Multisim™).
- Knowledge of EMC design principles.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
