About the role
As Senior Administrator and SCR Champion, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher and Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for maintaining accurate and compliant Single Central Record (SCR) documentation, overseeing onboarding processes, and supporting recruitment administration. From updating personnel files and scheduling interviews to liaising with external contractors and ensuring safeguarding checks are in place, you will be central to maintaining our high standards. You will also support general office operations, including facility bookings, answering queries, and assisting with school events.
This is a full-time, fixed term contract (September to January 2025) with an proposed immediate start.
Who we are looking for:
You are a highly organised and discreet administrator, with strong attention to detail and a flexible, team-oriented approach. You're confident working independently, able to manage competing priorities, and understand the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school environment. Ideally, you have experience in HR or school administration and are comfortable using systems like Microsoft Office, ISAMs, or similar. Above all, you're someone who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and enjoys contributing to a positive and professional school culture.
