About the Role
Complete Classroom Services is seeking a highly organised, professional, and compassionate Senior Administrative, Welfare and Attendance Officer to join our team.
This is a varied role combining office coordination, pupil welfare, first aid, and attendance monitoring.
You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our operations while promoting our values and ethos.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Leadership
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and professionalism.
- Provide comprehensive admin support to the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff.
- Maintain accurate pupil and staff data using MIS systems (e.g., SIMS).
- Manage official correspondence and communications.
- Assist with organising events, meetings, and preparing documentation.
2. Admissions & Records Management
- Coordinate pupil admissions with local authorities, parents, and schools.
- Maintain accurate records for starters, leavers, and transfers.
- Lead nursery and reception admissions processes.
- Complete end-of-year roll-ups, class allocations, and record transfers.
- Track daily attendance and liaise with families regarding absences.
- Investigate and follow up on persistent absences and lateness.
- Administer first aid and medication according to policy.
- Provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house service.
- Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Offer translation and parent liaison support where required.
General Office Duties
- Coordinate statutory returns including school census and pupil data reports.
- Manage ParentPay communications and resolve related queries.
- Maintain staff absence records and arrange supply cover.
- Support diary management and meeting preparation for the Headteacher.
Safeguarding & Compliance
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and report concerns promptly.
Welfare and First Aid
- Act as the school’s Lead First Aider.
- Administer first aid and prescribed medication in line with policy.
- Manage medical supplies and maintain pupil medical records.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support SEN administration and monitor inclusion inbox.
- Contribute to school initiatives and provide cover for colleagues where needed.
- Experience in a school administrative role or similar office environment.
- Experience in pupil welfare or attendance.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have Sims, Bromcom or Abror experience
