Your role
Unique to You is seeking a dedicated and passionate Alternative Provision SEND Tutor on a self-employed basis, who is qualified and experienced in delivering high-quality teaching to children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). This role is perfect for a qualified teacher who has taught in a specialist setting and is keen to transfer their skills to teaching students on a 1:1 basis with experience teaching students with autism (ASC), sensory processing difficulties, global development delay, communication needs.
Hours: 6 – 15 hours per week per student. Potential to extend hours if working with multiple students. Term time only.

About us
Unique to You is on Suffolk County Council’s Alternative Provision Directory, providing one-to-one tuition for children and young people with SEND who require support transitioning back into a school setting, are awaiting a specialist setting or are accessing an Education Other Than At School (EOTAS).
Unique to You specialises in delivering high-quality, 1:1 bespoke educational tuition to children and young people aged 4 to 16 (Reception to Key Stage 4) with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our areas of expertise include autism (ASC), sensory processing difficulties, global development delay and, communication needs.
Our provision is tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. We embrace their individual strengths, interests, and learning styles by creating personalised programmes that support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
