JOB PURPOSE:
You will be at the front line of our Self Store, selling our storage spaces & packing materials. Being the friendly welcoming face to assist in the day-to-day running of the Self Store facility. And to ensure that the Self Store is well organised and clean & tidy at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Tasks;
- Restocking Shelves.
- Cleaning Offices and Warehouse Areas.
- Keeping outdoor areas tidy
Customer Service and Sales;
- Helping to make the customer’s experience with us as smooth as possible.
- Effective communication both in person, over the phone and through emails.
- Responding promptly to storage enquiries, providing the best storage solution for the customer’s needs with aim to convert into a sale.
Computer Competence;
- Manage customer accounts through our computing system, (training will be provided).
- Scanning, Saving and Printing Documents. Sending Emails, and attaching documents.
- Assist with marketing/social media campaigns
Additional Responsibilities;
- Key Holder, you will hold keys to the building.
The role relies on you being able to get on and do jobs without supervision, so it is important that you are happy to work without supervision, and under your own initiative.
Be prepared to understand the need for flexibility and be prepared to undertake additional duties in order to maintain the facility.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- You will be able to work independently without supervision.
- Have a friendly and approachable attitude, and have experience of interacting effectively with a wide range of people.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Sales Skills, converting enquiries and upselling.
- Computing/ IT experience, (training will be given on our systems).
- Pro-active,Motivated and enthusiastic.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: £12.21 per hour
