Overview
We are seeking a Self-Employed Hairdresser on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (can do 1-3 of these days) to join our friendly, hardworking team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience on the shop floor and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Clients provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to each client's needs.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional advice on styles and treatments.
- Maintain an organised front desk area, managing appointments and client inquiries efficiently.
- Upsell additional services and products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling.
- Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster their development.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are clean, sanitised, and in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their preferences.
- Proven customer service abilities with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in front desk operations within a salon environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote additional services or products effectively
- Ability to mentor others and share expertise within the team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £18,315.00-£44,625.13 per year
Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
