Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires ability to handle heavy lifting, making it essential for candidates to be physically fit and capable of managing the demands of the job.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and completing necessary paperwork.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning of the delivery van.
- Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery, representing the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.

Pay: £115.00-£130.00 per day
