The route is Tuesday - Saturday but there maybe an opportunity to do Sunday - Thursday instead.
Route will be Sunderland/Washington area.
The candidates choice is to be paid a standard daily rate of £100 per day regardless of number of stops completed or there is an opportunity to go on bonus scheme of £90 per day up to 95 stops and then £1 bonus for every stop on top of 95 meaning pay could be up to £145 per day depending on numbers.

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Operate a van or delivery vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of packages during transit.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary documentation.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including sorting and organising packages.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
